Annual GSC Jazz Band Christmas Concert scheduled for Nov. 29

GLENVILLE – The Glenville State College Jazz Band will be hosting their annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Nov. 29. The performance will take place in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium and will begin at 7 p.m.

The concert will begin with a set of traditional jazz favorites from a variety of styles including swing, Latin, rock, and a variety of others. The second set features Glenville State’s talented student ensemble performing jazz inspired arrangements of holiday classics.

“Now in its fifth year, this performance has become a holiday tradition for all of Gilmer County.  We invite all families, community members, GSC faculty, staff, and students to come celebrate the spirit of the season!” said Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Jason Barr.
