American Legion Post 7 to hold strawberry shortcake sale Friday and Saturday

BUCKHANNON — American Legion Post 7 will hold a strawberry shortcake sale on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day. The shortcake sale will be at the Post Home, 16 S. Kanawha St. in Buckhannon.

Post 7 will be selling strawberry shortcake with whipped cream on fresh homemade cake. Shortcake costs $4, and drinks are $1 (coffee, Coke, Diet Coke and water).

All proceeds go to the Veterans Appreciation Fund. Stop by and have a delicious piece of strawberry shortcake this weekend as you enjoy the 81st Annual West Virginia Strawberry Festival!
