TENNERTON – The wait for “the best Italian and Greek food” is over: Alfredo’s is opening Monday in Tennerton.
Alfredo’s in Buckhannon will be the statewide chain’s fourth location; other Alfredo’s locations include Lewisburg, Summersville and Marlinton.
Owner Gharib Nakouda said Friday he’s looking forward to serving the residents of Upshur County and is certain they’ll be impressed by the quality of food.
While the majority of the menu lists a variety of pizza and Italian dishes, there’s some Greek, too, and Nakouda said he’ll add more if patrons ask for it.
“We’re going to see how everything’s going for us,” Nakouda said. “If we need more Greek, we’ll add more Greek.”
As it stands now, Alfredo’s plans to serve gyros, stuffed grape leaves, chicken and shrimp cacciatore, chicken de l’giardino, baklava, Greek salads, Greek pizza and more.
Nakouda said the new Alfredo’s – which seats up to 130 people – has taken about six months of renovation work, but he’s happy to finally confirm an opening date and looking forward to welcoming local residents.
“We want to make sure everyone in the community loves us because we love everybody,” Nakouda said. “We have good food; you’re going to like it.”
Patrons may either dine in or carry out, and Alfredo’s even has space for private parties.
Alfredo’s will be open seven days a week – from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
