Agnes Marie “Sally” Shipman

Agnes Marie “Sally” Shipman, 90, of Belington, W.Va., died Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society of Barbour County in Belington.

She was born March 19, 1929, in Buckhannon, W.Va., a daughter of the late Glenn and Viola Reid Shipman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an uncle, James Shipman.

She is survived by her cousins, Stephen M. Glass and wife Cindy of Bridgeport, W.Va. and Sarah Shipman-Kuntz and husband Jerry of Delray Beach, Fla.

“Sally” was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. She enjoyed needlepoint and loved animals. She was a wonderful individual who cared for everyone especially children.

Friends will be received Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tallmansville, W.Va.
