Adam Minnick headlines stand-up comedy night at the Colonial Arts Center on May 2; Weston’s Bobby Benavides to open

The Colonial Arts Center will host a night of family-friendly stand-up comedy on Saturday, May 2, from 7 to 8 p.m., headlined by nationally touring comedian Adam Minnick with support from Weston’s Bobby Benavides.

Minnick returns to the Colonial Arts Center after a successful appearance at the venue last year. A seasoned performer, he has appeared at premier clubs and stages across the United States and abroad, including Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club and Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas.

Minnick’s act blends observational humor with stories about travel, teaching, sports, family and married life, delivering a clean, intelligent show that resonates with audiences of all ages. Benavides, from nearby Weston, will open the show with his own brand of local comedy.

Tickets are on sale now through the Colonial Arts Center. The family-friendly event is geared toward anyone seeking an entertaining, laugh-filled evening in Buckhannon.
