St. Joseph’s Hospital’s COVID testing trailer to be open Labor Day, Sept. 6

BUCKHANNON — St. Joseph’s Hospital will have testing for COVID available on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th at its testing trailer in front of the hospital. Testing is available seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are two types of testing. The free state testing does not require a physician’s order and you will receive your results in approximately two business days. Patients needing testing are asked to go directly to the trailer and not enter the hospital.

Testing is also available on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upshur-Buckhannon Health Department located at 15 North Locust Street in Buckhannon. Vaccines are available there by appointment on Wednesdays between the hours of
9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Call 304-472-2810 to schedule an appointment.

If you have questions about COVID-19, call St. Joseph’s Hospital Nurse Triage Line, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to noon at 304-473-2161. Labor Day hours for the triage line are 8 am to noon.
