Buckhannon-Upshur Farmer’s Market to remain open through October’s end

BUCKHANNON — Despite the cancellation of the remaining two Festival Fridays, local officials with the Buckhannon-Upshur Farmer’s Market want produce lovers to know the farmer’s market will remain open through the end of October.

Farmer’s market president Donnie Tenney said Tuesday that the farmer’s market will continue to operate in Jawbone Park during its regularly scheduled hours — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and from 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays — through Oct. 31.

Please note: The online pre-ordering system on Facebook Marketplace has been taken down due to a slew of out-of-state orders. While plans are in the works to build a new e-commerce website for farmer’s market pre-orders, in the meantime, stop by the market on Wednesdays and Fridays in Jawbone Park in downtown Buckhannon.
