TALLMANSVILLE – Attention Upshur County residents served by the Mt. Hope Water Association: a planned service outage is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 7.

As a result, customers served by the water company – with the exception of those who live in the Queens and Ten Mile areas – will be under a boil-water advisory until further notice.

The utility sent out a media advisory Tuesday saying the outage is necessary to allow for time to repair another leak on the Bryan Foster Road in the Tallmansville area.
