This week’s student-athlete is Kadyn Baisden — enjoy getting to know him.

5. What was or is your favorite class you have taken at Buckhannon-Upshur and who taught it? Why was it your favorite? Ms. Terry’s science class my freshman year. We did a bunch of labs and she was really cool.

6. What is your favorite thing about being a Buccaneer? My teammates. Getting to play with my friends and go through everything together.

7. If you were asked to play another sport, what would it be and why? Golf. I think it would be fun.

8. Who is your hero and why? My parents because they’ve given me so many opportunities and have always supported me.

11. What question do you hate to answer? Anything about me.

12. Who is the best athlete in your family? Probably my dad or one of my uncles, Todd or Billy. My dad ran track and played football, Todd played baseball, and Billy wrestled.

14. What is your favorite food and one thing you won’t eat? Steak. I won’t eat brussels sprouts.
