BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — On Tuesday, September 8, a veterans outreach event will be held at the Upshur County Senior Center, located at 28 N. Kanawha St. in Buckhannon. It will begin at 9 a.m. and run until 2 p.m.

A variety of offices from the VA Hospital in Clarksburg will be in attendance, including VA enrollment and more. The American Legion Post 7 will be in attendance as well to assist all veterans and surviving spouses with questions about VA disability.

The Post 7 representative will be available to assist veterans and their families in beginning the process for veterans to file for their earned benefits. If you are planning on beginning that process, please bring your DD214.
