Tuesday, April 7
Curbside Recycling Pickup begins at 6 a.m. Pickup occurs within the Buckhannon city limits. Information about recycling is available on the city website, at City Hall or by calling the Recycling Center or Upshur County Solid Waste Authority at (304) 472-4443.
Thursday, April 9
Water Board Meeting, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Attend in person or join virtually via this link or by calling (872) 240-3212, access code 234-619-757.
Friday, April 10
Bulky Goods Collection begins at 5:30 a.m. Bulky goods collection is for large items such as couches, chairs, mattresses, appliances, etc. All Buckhannon Waste Department customers are allowed four items per month and eight tires per year. You must call by Wednesday, April 8, to schedule a pickup. Items must be at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on Friday to ensure pickup.

Reminders
Trash can placement: Trash cans must be hidden from public view as much as possible during the week. Place them at the curb the night before collection and return them within 24 hours after collection.
Utility bill payments: Pay utility bills online at Municipal Online Payments or by phone at 1-866-933-4026. Setting up an account allows you to monitor your consumption.
Report repairs or concerns: To report issues such as potholes or damaged signs, call City Hall during business hours to submit a work order or use the Report a Concern tool.
