Tuesday, March 17

  • Curbside Recycling Pick-up begins at 6 a.m. — Pick-up occurs within Buckhannon city limits. Information about recycling can be found on the city’s website, at City Hall, or by calling the Recycling Center or Upshur County Solid Waste Authority at (304) 472-4443.
  • Downtown Seasonal Decoration Committee Meeting, 5:30-6:30 p.m. — This is an in-person meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers; no GoToMeeting option is available.

Thursday, March 19

  • Sanitary Board Meeting — Mayor Robbie Skinner advises that the City of Buckhannon Sanitary Board meeting scheduled for March 19, 2026, has been canceled. The next meeting is scheduled for April 16, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
