Educators Rising students head to Canaan Valley for state competitions

Strawberry Festival organizers plan to swap food and market vendor locations, moving food vendors to a paved lot to reduce mud and flooding risks. The fireworks will likely also be canceled this year because the headlining band is starting later Saturday evening.

Barbour Community Health Association has named longtime community advocate Josh Allen as chief operating officer, following the retirement of Deborah “Debbie” Schoonover after 25 years.
