Larry Kemp Riley

Larry Kemp Riley, age 50, of the Heaston Ridge Road, Crawford, WV, died Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

He was born on June 20, 1975, in Richwood, WV, a son of the late Russell K. “Bud” Riley and Betty F. Springer Riley who survives. Also surviving are one son Joshua Riley of French Creek; two sisters: Bobby Jo and husband Nelson Brown and Betty Jo and husband James Nolan, both of Crawford; former wife Angela Riley of French Creek; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother Russell F. “Buddy” Riley.

Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Beech Mountain Sportsmen’s Club. He was employed by Appalachian Forest Products and loved his work there.

The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 12-2:00 PM; a funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Following the services, the body will be cremated.
