Buckhannon Community Theater is calling on collectors, thrift store enthusiasts and antique business owners to help create an authentic Santa’s workshop for their upcoming production of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jr.
The theater group is seeking timeless, nostalgic toys to use as set décor and props, including wooden blocks, wooden toys, rocking horses, tin wind-up toys, dolls, spinning tops, puzzles, sleds and other classic treasures from bygone days.
Items loaned to the production will be featured in Santa’s workshop scenes. As a thank you, the theater will include donors’ names or businesses in the program’s acknowledgments.
The production runs December 4-7 at the Colonial Arts Center.
