Mable Ellen Kelley

Mable Ellen Kelley, age 77, of Tallmansville, WV, died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV.

She was born on December 26, 1947, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Leonard Willis and Tressa Hartley Herron.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Kelley of Tallmansville; two sons, Elmer Kelley, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Tallmansville and Jody Kelley and his wife Klara of Buckhannon; four daughters, Teresa Booth and her husband Garvin of Moundsville, WV, Rebecca Hoover and her husband Richard and Kimberly Mitchell and her husband Brian all of Tallmansville and Rachel Kelley of Buckhannon; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Dwight “Ike”, Eugene and John Herron all of Buckhannon; three sisters, Hilda “Tay” Wagoner of Tallmansville, Linda Kelley of Buckhannon and Brenda DeMoss and her husband Carol of French Creek, WV; one sister-in-law, June Herron and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Boyd Herron and two sisters, Lillian Wilke and Emma Zickefoose.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lanham Cemetery in Queens, WV.
