FAIRMONT — The West Virginia Wesleyan swim teams traveled to Fairmont State University for their final meet of the regular season Saturday afternoon. The men’s score would total Fairmont: 126 WVWC: 37 and the women’s Fairmont: 141 WVWC: 44.

Notable Performers for the men’s team included Aaron Taylor earning a first place finish in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:25.40. Taylor also placed in the 1000-yard free at 11:07.13. Alex Cedillo placed second in the men’s 200-yard fly with a time of 2:13.12. Nick Gerosta placed fourth in the 200-yard back with a time of 2:18.49.

For the women, Rhyan Murphy placed a close second in the 200-yard free with a time of 2:05.34. Murphy placed second in the 100-yard free with a time of 56.68. Addy McCann finish second in the 200-yardfly with a time of 2:42.75.

The swim teams will head into the MEC/ GMAC Conference Championships from Feb. 12-16 in Canton Ohio.
