Marion Joseph Bryant

Marion Joseph Bryant, age 92, of Bristol, WV, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at Rosewood Center in Grafton. He was born in Charleston, WV on March 23, 1932, a son of the late Joseph Stephen and Nellie Irene Huffman Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Judith Ann Strader Bryant; one daughter Felicia Sharon Bryant; and two brothers: Sherman Leo Bryant and Howard Bryant.

He is survived by two sons: Marion Joseph Bryant, Jr. and wife Linda of Lawrenceville, GA and Rodney Allen Bryant and wife Angie of Kewanee, IL; one daughter Patricia Ann Ellard of Dunbar, WV; nine grandchildren: Brandy and Chelsie Ellard, and Felicia, Jonathan, Joseph, Nicholas, Joshua, Jessica, and Joram Bryant; two great-grandchildren: Peyton and Waylon Bryant; and one brother Edgar Bryant of French Creek.

Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War, and was retired from AT&T after 42 years of faithful service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

Due to weather, private interment will be made in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery and a memorial service will be held for the public at a later date. Online condolences may be extended to the Bryant family at www.heavnerandcutright.com.
