WVU fans to gather for Mountaineer Meetup before Frisco Bowl game against Memphis

West Virginia University fans will gather in gold and blue to cheer on the Mountaineers as they close the 2024 football season during the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl on Tuesday, Dec. 17, in Frisco, Texas.

For WVU fans heading to the game against the University of Memphis at Toyota Stadium, the WVU Alumni Association and the Mountaineer Athletic Club have teamed up to host a Mountaineer Meetup in conjunction with the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association.

On game day, alumni, friends and fans are invited to join fellow Mountaineers from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. CST at The Green Gator Frisco, 5566 Main St. #110, Frisco, Texas, near Toyota Stadium.

WVU giveaways along with food and beverage specials will be available at the event. “The Pride of West Virginia,” the Mountaineer Marching Band, University cheerleaders and the Mountaineer mascot will make appearances.
