Buckhannon Lions Club hosts holiday wreath sale, funds support Upshur County community

BUCKHANNON – Wreaths are the perfect addition to your holiday decorations as they add a simple splash of jolly fun to your front door – or in other locations throughout your home.

The Buckhannon Lions Club invites all to purchase holiday wreaths, decorated or plain, at the empty parking lot on Route 20 near Fisher Auto Parts, across from Rent World.

The sale is now open to the community from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

In honor of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Buckhannon Lions Club local chapter, this annual fundraising sale is truly a community favorite event.

“We would like to wish everyone a great holiday season,” said Buckhannon Lions Club Membership Chair Hank Ellis. “The money collected from the wreath sale helps local people receive eyeglasses, and our chapter can assist with fundraising efforts in the community, such as Project Graduation.”

Whether you prefer your holiday wreath fully decorated or plain, the Buckhannon Lions Club has what you need to make this a cheerful season for all ages.
