TENNERTON – The 2024 Buccaneer Soccer Camp hosted 58 youngsters this past week at the Ted Crites Alumni Field at Tom Hasbrouck Stadium.

The camp was for children entering first through eighth grade.

The four-day camp, which featured skills, drills, and games, was under the direction of Buckhannon-Upshur head coach Mike Donato, former and current players and coaches from West Virginia Wesleyan. Campers also had the opportunity to earn prizes throughout the week.

Donato stated, “I would like to extend a special thank you to the members of the Upshur County community for registering their children to participate in camp, the coaches and players who volunteered to help, and the B-U Soccer Boosters for their help and support throughout the planning process.
