Caroline Fulks

BUCKHANNON — The Upshur Cooperative Parish House is pleased to announce the hiring of Caroline Fulks as the new Assistant Director. Caroline brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Parish House, having recently completed her Master’s in Public Administration at Ohio University.

Caroline is well-acquainted with the Parish House, having served as a Service Scholar during her time at WV Wesleyan from 2019-2023. Her dedication to public service and nonprofit management makes her a valuable addition to our team. In her new role, Caroline will be responsible for overseeing programming and neighbor education opportunities, enhancing our social media and community-building efforts, and assisting with daily operations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Caroline back to the Parish House,” said Isaac Casto, Executive Director of the nonprofit that addresses food insecurity and housing instability. “We want to become more proactive in our services and programming. Caroline’s skill set, experience and energy align perfectly with those long-term goals.”

Caroline’s initial projects will include planning for the back-to-school backpack program and the weekend feeding program. She will also focus on youth engagement and volunteer opportunities, and she will play a crucial role in establishing our new satellite location in Rock Cave.

“Working at the Parish House as a Service Scholar was extremely influential in shaping my career path, passions, and personal development,” stated Caroline. “Returning now feels like a full-circle moment, and I am excited to contribute to this organization in new and innovative ways. I am eager to support the Parish House’s continued success with the dedication and enthusiasm it instilled in me years ago.”

The Parish House looks forward to the positive impact Caroline will have on our organization and the community we serve. Her commitment and expertise will undoubtedly help us in our mission to work together as neighbors.
