This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Slaton Kowalkoski and Kyndal Davis

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 4 – Sept. 10 are Slaton Kowalkoski and Kyndal Davis.

Kowalkoski is a junior goalie on the Buckhannon-Upshur boys’ soccer team. In three games this week, he posted a 1.67 goals allowed average as the Bucs went 1-1-1. In the three games, he compiled 16 saves.

Davis is a senior keeper for the Buckhannon-Upshur soccer Lady Bucs. She helped the Lady Bucs to a perfect 3-0 week, including a huge shutout win over George Washington this past Saturday. She owned a 1.0 goals allowed average for the Lady Bucs in the three wins.
