On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Edward “Eddie” Ey, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away at home after a long illness.
Eddie was born on June 21, 1962, at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his companion, Lisa Cutright Reed; daughter, Heidi Ey Teevan; grandchildren, Baillie Teevan and Lyric Teevan; stepchildren, Robin Reed, Justin Reed and wife Hayley; step-granddaughter, Haistyn; brother, Elwood Ey, III and sister, Elan Myers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood Ey, Jr. and Sandra Ey.
Eddie’s family would like to thank his friends for providing so much support throughout his illness. Thank you to Fresenius Kidney Care and WVU Medicine Hospice for the care, kindness, and support.
In honoring Eddie’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a private service will be held at a later date.
