Sam’s Pizza remains in first place in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – Despite a 19-18 setback to Baker Tilly, Sam’s Pizza remained in first place in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.

As the second quarter winds down, Sam’s Pizza’s lead has shrunk to just one point after Hank Ellis Insurance had a huge week downing Sealcoat Concepts by a 26-14 score.

Sam’s Pizza currently has 91 points while Hank Ellis Insurance resides in second place with 90.

Sealcoat Concepts dropped from second place to fourth place with the loss with 84 points.

Highland Landscaping remained in third place after defeating First Community Bank by a 22-18 score with 86 ½ points.

The other two matches of the week saw Custom Cabinets down High Point Construction by a 21 ½-18 ½ count and Lisa Cain Edward Jones beat Feola’s Flowers by a 21-19 score.

Kenny Tenney of Baker Tilly and Doug Garrett of Hank Ellis Insurance both won Low Actual honors with 35s while Tenney claimed Low Net honors with a 30.
