The 2022 Best in Show winner, made by Sharon Wyatt.

BUCKHANNON — The 44th Strawberry Festival Quilt Show, sponsored by the Quilters at Heart Guild and the Upshur County CEOS, will be held at the Rockefeller Center Gymnasium on the WV Wesleyan College campus.

The days and hours of the show are:
* Thursday, May 18th from 9:00-6:00
* Friday, May 19th from 9:00-6:00
* Saturday, May 20th from 9:00-1:00 (NOTE THE NEW CLOSING TIME.)

If you’d like to display quilt items in the show, please bring them to the Rockefeller Center on Monday, May 15th from noon to 5:00 or Tuesday, May 16th from 9:00 to 5:00. Registration forms and information about categories is available on the Strawberry Festival website www.wvstrawberryfestival.com, from local quilt shops, or on the Quilters at Heart Facebook page.

Amy Pabst will be our judge this year, and monetary prizes generously donated by Mountain State Quilting will be awarded to Best in Show, Judge’s Choice, and People’s Choice.

Fear of judging? No problem – we have a category for unjudged items. Share your beauties with us without going through the judging process.

In addition to the Quilt Show, there will be a Boutique where hand-made items may be purchased, as well as the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for the charity quilt made by Guild members. This year’s recipient of the proceeds from the raffle quilt will be Mountain CAP Child Advocacy Center, and the drawing will be held in October.

Contact Luanne Bowers at 304-613-8155 or Patti Anderson at 304-531-2858 if you have any questions.
