Karen “Susie” Kincaid Post

Karen “Susie” Kincaid Post, age 80, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born January 27, 1944, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Thomas Issac (Tommy) and Glendean L. Zickefoose Miller. On February 6, 1960, she married Donnie W. Kincaid who preceded her in death on August 8, 2022. 

On December 25, 2023, she married Benny Post who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Libby Hoover and husband Gerry of Buckhannon; one son, Donnie W. Kincaid, Jr., and wife Connie Sue Atwell of French Creek, WV; one step daughter, Christena Post of Sterling, VA; one step son, Rodney Post of San Francisco, CA; two grandsons, Jason Hoover and Caleb Hunter Kincaid both of French Creek; two granddaughters, Jennifer Cutlip and husband Derek of Lost Creek, WV and Allison Fawn Kincaid of French Creek; one step grandson, Rylan Davis of Sterling; one great grandson, Devon Cutlip of Lost Creek; one great granddaughter, Julianne Cutlip of Lost Creek; one brother, Jonnie L. Miller of Buckhannon; two sisters, Linda M. Gibbons of Manassas, VA and Shirley A. McDaniels and husband Carl of Buckhannon; nephew, Danny Miller and wife Kathy of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas E. “Toby” Miller, Richard M. Miller and Patrick “Pat” Miller, Sr. 

“Susie” was a homemaker and a Christian. She loved to cook and bake for her family. “Susie” could sit for hours watching QVC.

Friends will be received Monday, April 29, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pam Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
