Dinners, brunch and wine, oh my! Fish Hawk Acres invites community to events in May

BUCKHANNON – Mark your calendars: Fish Hawk Acres will offer several exciting events this month. Experience the fun and fine dining of Fish Hawk Acres through their Wine Clubs, Cooking Classes, Market Dinners and other exciting events. Guests are also invited to celebrate Mother’s Day by attending floral classes with Blooms by Juliette and Sunday Brunch at The Farm in Rock Cave.

Sunday Brunch at the Farm

Treat the special mother-figure in your life to Mother’s Day Brunch at The Farm on Sunday, May 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are welcome at The Farm at 87 Fish Hawk Drive in Rock Cave, West Virginia. The cost to enjoy this experience is $35 per person plus sales tax. Gratuity is not included. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a friend. Reserve your seat here.

Fish Hawk Farm Dinners

The first Farm Dinner of the year is scheduled for Thursday, May 11. The Spring Soiree at the Farm will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Fish Hawk Farm in Rock Cave. Here’s the tentative menu:

  • Grilled Avocado Caprese Crostini
  • Cucumber and Sweet Onion Salad with Fresh Dill and Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Wilted Lettuce with Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce, Green Onions & Eggs
  • English Muffin Bread
  • Roasted Spring Hens
  • Grilled Salmon
  • Poached Asparagus with EVOO, Lemon and Sea Salt
  • Grilled Sweet Onions and Red Potatoes
  • Strawberry Rhubarb Bars
  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • Iced Tea, Lemonade, Water

The Spring Soiree Dinner will be held Thursday, May 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Fish Hawk Farm in Rock Cave. Enjoy the sounds of the Sago River String Band. $40 per person + sales tax (gratuity not included). Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred. Get tickets here.

Special Events: Floral Classes

Celebrate Mother’s Day with Blooms by Juliette. Floral classes allow guests to explore their inner florist with beautiful florals and greenery grown by Juliette. The Mother’s Day Floral Arrangement Class will be held Saturday, May 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Coop, 4 E. Main Street in Buckhannon.

Create a custom, floral arrangement to your liking! All materials needed to design the arrangement will be provided to guests in order to design with a hint of Ikebana or Traditional styles. The cost to enjoy this experience is $45. Reserve your seat here.

Cooking Classes by Fish Hawk Acres

Fish Hawk Acres offers a wide array of cooking classes for every occasion. From baking to kids classes, and even date night, attend a cooking class with Fish Hawk Acres at The Coop at 4 E. Main Street in Buckhannon. The price to enjoy these classes vary. See the FHA cooking class schedule here.

Wine Club

Once a month, the Fish Hawk Acres Wine Club allows wine enthusiasts to gather for an afternoon of sipping. Join the F’hamily on Sunday, May 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fish Hawk Acres Market at 5 W. Main Street in Buckhannon to experience The Food and Wine of South America.

The cost to enjoy this experience is $45 per person plus tax. Gratuity not included. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a friend. Advance reservations are required as seating for the event is limited. Reserve your seat here.
