With supply chain issues affecting law enforcement agencies across the U.S., causing delays in obtaining vehicles, Chief Deputy J. Michael Coffman told the group that the donation will be extremely helpful and will be used as a transport vehicle.

Upshur County Commissioner Sam R. Nolte was also in attendance at the occasion at the Clarksburg site in March 2023.

Nolte said, “The Upshur County Commission would like to thank STOCKMEIER Urethanes for their generous donation of the Taurus to the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department. This will be a great addition to the fleet and very useful in the department’s daily operations.”

Christian Martinkat, President & CEO at STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA, expressed, “It is the men and women at our local police departments that keep us all safe every day while risking their lives in the process. We are proud and humbled to have the opportunity to support them on this occasion.”
