BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a female and male athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur that has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court or the cross country course.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of October 10 – October 16 are Dalton Auvil and .

Auvil is a senior goalkeeper on the Buccaneer soccer team. In the regular-season finale for the Bucs, Auvil turned in a shutout making eight saves on the road at Elkins in a 2-0 win for the Bucs.

Falkenstein is a senior on the Lady Buc cross country team. Falkenstein won the Big 10 Conference individual championship at Preston High School. She outperformed 93 other runners as she posted a championship time of 19.19.3. She was the only female competitor to complete the race in under 19:30. Falkenstein is ranked third overall in Class AAA.
