This week’s Hank Ellis All-Stars: Caden Andrick and Hannah Walton

BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. We will select a female and male athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur each week that has had an exemplary week on the baseball or softball diamond, the tennis courts, the track and field or the lacrosse field.

Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of March 14-20 are Caden Andrick and Hannah Walton.

Andrick is a senior on the B-U tennis team.

Playing at No. 2 singles last week, Andrick went 2-0 getting wins over University and Lincoln in the Bucs’ first two outings of the year winning both contests by 8-2 scores.

He also teamed with Aden Pitts and the duo picked up two doubles wins as the No. 1 seed.

Walton is a senior on the B-U lacrosse team.

She helped the Lady Bucs to a 2-0 start to the season with wins over Capital and Wheeling Park.

She led the team in scoring at Capital with eight goals while adding an assist and then scored four times and chipped in two assists in a home win over Wheeling Park.

Congratulations to Andrick and Walton as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
