TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur junior varsity Lady Bucs dropped a 9-7 decision to the Bridgeport Indians in a home battle Tuesday evening.
The two teams played just one quarter.
With Bridgeport facing low numbers, they wanted to cancel the game but were talked into playing the one quarter instead.
Casadie Lahman had four points while Regina Petrokovich nailed a three-pointer for the JV Lady Buc scoring.
The loss dropped the junior varsity Lady Bucs to 3-8 on the year.
The JV Lady Bucs will be back in action Thursday at Lewis County.
The game will begin at 5:45 p.m.
