WESTON, W.Va. – Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital has announced the addition of two new members to the Board of Directors – Alissa Lambert and George Stansberry, both of Lewis County.

“One of the keys to the long-term success of Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital has always been an engaged community Board to provide governance and direction for the hospital. That is as true today as ever where our hospital is an integral component of Mon Health System,” said Kevin Stalnaker, Chief Administrative Officer of Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. “Ms. Lambert and Mr. Stansberry are committed community members and we appreciate their desire to participate in our organization.”

Lambert is very pleased to be a part of the Board and said, “This is very important to me. My roots are here and as a family we use Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital for our care, so helping it succeed is essential to me.”

Lambert’s career in media included work as an on-air television personality and television advertising. In recent years, she managed digital advertising for multiple healthcare organizations throughout the nation. She currently holds a leadership role for a digital technology platform and was recruited to build a national sales division, growing from two people to 30 people in the past year. Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Lambert attended the University of Tampa (FL) for two years before attaining her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

Lambert is married to her husband, J.B., and together they share three children – Ruby, Camryn, and Jeffrey. Lambert helps in the operation of Lambert’s Winery, as well as the company’s rental business. She is a member of the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce Board.

George Stansberry also looks forward to working on the Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital Board and said, “I thought I could be of help to our hospital. My children were all born here, and I feel a special relationship to the hospital.”

He is originally from Doddridge County, receiving his education degree from Glenville State and his masters from West Virginia University. He is married to his wife, Becky, and the couple has three children and three grandchildren together.

Stansberry is a member of the Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon and is involved in prison ministry at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, Pruntytown Correction Center P.C.C, in Taylor County and is a mentor for Crossroads Prison Ministry.

The two will join the other Board members, including: Chairman Robin Poling, Vice Chairman C. Gregory Cunningham, Secretary/Treasurer Kim Gum and members John Law, Dr. Joseph Snead, Gregory St. Clair, R. Gerald Wood, Dr. Doyle Sickles, Dr. Jeremy Williams, Kevin Stalnaker, and David Goldberg.
