Bucs continue to remain eighth in WVSACA Boys’ Basketball poll

TENNERTON – Following a 1-1 week last week, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers remained eighth in Class AAAA in the Week 11 WVSACA Boys Basketball poll.

Last week, the Bucs lost to No. 4 Class AAA Bridgeport but rebounded to defeat Preston.

The Bucs are 13-7 on the year heading into the final week of their regular season.

They face another daunting schedule this week as they host Class AAAA No. 2 Morgantown on Wednesday and they visit rival Lewis County on Friday to wrap up the regular season.

George Washington remains the top seed in Class AAAA, Capital stays on top of Class AAA, Wheeling Central stays put on top of Class AA and Greater Beckley is the new number one seed in Class A.
