BUCKHANNON, W.Va. –St. Joseph’s Hospital is thanking its Quality and Infection Prevention staff during the week of October 18, 2021 in recognition of National Healthcare Quality and International Infection Prevention Week.
Healthcare Quality staff focus on enhancing patient care delivery and improving patient outcomes while optimizing value. This work has never been more important than during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Infection Prevention staff play a crucial role in keeping our neighborhoods safe and healthy. In addition to fighting a global pandemic, infection prevention specialists protect from surges in healthcare-associated infections, measles outbreaks, flu season, and so many other day-to-day infectious battles.
