You might qualify for Optimum Mobile free or reduced-price wireless service through federal program

New York – December 16, 2022 – Optimum, a brand of Altice USA, recently announced that households that enroll in the Federal Government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) can now receive free or reduced-price wireless service through Optimum Mobile after applying the program’s maximum $30 credit.

With the addition of mobile to Optimum’s ACP offering, new and existing Optimum customers who qualify for the program are now able to access its cost-savings benefits in one of two ways: applying their ACP credit to Optimum Internet, including free 300 Mbps service, or using the credit for Optimum Mobile, through which qualifying customers can now receive free 1 GB and 3 GB Optimum Mobile service or reduced mobile charges for Unlimited and Unlimited Max plans.

In addition, qualifying households on Tribal Lands are eligible for a maximum $75 ACP credit, which provides free service on every Optimum Mobile plan.

“We understand how important internet and mobile service is for our customers and are happy to expand Optimum’s offerings under the Affordable Connectivity Program with the launch of the ACP for Optimum Mobile,” said Matthew Grover, Executive Vice President at Optimum. “We continue to be champions of the ACP and its goal to close the connectivity gap for customers across the country and look forward to now providing eligible consumers with the ability to reduce the cost of their fixed or mobile services through the program.”

New and existing Optimum customers can visit Optimum.com/ACP or Optimum.com/mobile/ACP for more information on the ACP and to apply.

Free service claim applies to 1 GB and 3 GB service plans, excluding government taxes and other fees, including a $20 activation fee.
