BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — West Virginia Wesleyan shortstop Alli Robinson was selected as Mountain East Conference Softball Athlete of the Week.
 
The Buckhannon, W.Va., native guided the Lady ‘Cats to six wins last week and was a key hitter in the WVWC lineup. Robinson went 10-23 at the plate and posted a batting average of .435. The junior infielder crushed three home runs, four doubles and 11 RBIs during the week. Robinson recorded four multi-hit games last week.
 
The Lady Bobcats are set to welcome West Virginia State to Culpepper Field on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.
