BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Hannah Hudson has been named the Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced this afternoon. Hudson and the Lady Bobcats are coming off an (11-3) week on their spring break tour of Florida.
The Blackstone, Va. native totaled 20 innings of work, grabbing three wins with 21 strikeouts, three walks and no earned runs. She pitched a one-hitter against Lake Erie College with six strikeouts and only one walk.
Against California (Pa.), Hudson pitched a complete-game with five strikeouts and no walks. She surrendered seven hits in that outing. In her start versus Slippery Rock, she pitched six innings and struck out 10 batters.
