WVWC’s Hudson And Stoffel On NFCA Player and Pitcher Of The Year watchlist

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – West Virginia Wesleyan pitchers Hannah Hudson and Kendall Stoffel have landed on the NCAA Division II NFCA Player & Pitcher of the Year Watchlist. The list is compiled of the eight DII regions with up to 15 student-athletes in each region on the list.

Hudson, a graduate student from Blackstone, Va., has posted a 8-4 record with a 1.57 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 75 2/3 innings pitched. She has tossed nine complete games, including four shutouts in 13 appearances so far this season. The right-handed pitcher was a finalist for the award last year.

Stoffel has an MEC-leading 11 wins with a 1.17 ERA and 72 strikeouts. She has pitched eight complete games with three shutouts in 77 2/3 innings of work.
