LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The West Virginia Wesleyan cross country team ran at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship hosted at the West Branch XC Course.
 
The men’s team placed 18th overall.

Freshman Evan Pyles logged a time of 33:25.9 and finished 62nd individually. 

Jacob Defibaugh (34.54.1) and Elijah Hannig (34:59.0) each completed the race in under 35 minutes.

Rounding out the scoring for WVWC was Anthony Sanders (35:50.8), Christian Cimaglia (36.46.2), Cole Bracken (39:15.3) and James Sams (39:26.4).
 
On the women’s side, Leigha Hall completed the 6000-meter race in 23:43.1 and Tori Carr finished with a time of 23:57.0.
