Sentencing for former Buckhannon mayor delayed until June

Former FCI Morgantown corrections officer Elaina Massey, 41, pled guilty to bribery after admitting she took more than $20,000 from inmates in exchange for contraband like cell phones, alcohol and tobacco.

Gov. Patrick Morrisey posthumously awarded the West Virginia Distinguished Service Medal to Army SPC Sarah Beckstrom, honoring her service and sacrifice with the West Virginia Army National Guard. The medal was presented to her parents at a ceremony in Charleston.
