WVWC soccer star selected for All-American squad

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — West Virginia Wesleyan College junior Matthew Bentley has earned more honors to go with his impressive 2018 soccer campaign.

The London, England native finished the year with 14 goals which propelled him to being a D2CCA Third Team All-American. Bentley also was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region team which featured seven players from the Mountain East Conference.

Bentley was a major part of the men’s soccer team finishing the season on a four-game winning streak. Over those four games, the junior midfielder scored 10 goals.
