WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital recognizes its Advanced Practice Providers

BUCKHANNON, WV –WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital recognized the contributions of their Advanced Practice Providers (APP) during National Advanced Practice Provider Week September 25-29. 

St. Joseph’s Hospital’s APPs include Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants/Associates.  The week is to celebrate the hard work of these professionals and to raise awareness of their unique roles in healthcare.

“This week we celebrate our Advanced Practice Providers” said Abby Haddix, Director of Ancillary Services and Ambulatory Clinics at St. Joseph’s Hospital. “We are proud to have over 31 Advanced Practice Providers at St. Joseph’s Hospital who directly elevate the quality of care and meet the growing needs of our patients.  Our APP’s are a valued part of the patient care team working in the hospital, OR, physician clinics and emergency room.  They are essential to the health, hope and healing for all our patients within the surrounding communities.  Thank you to our APPs for all you do to give our patients the very best care.”
