WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital now partnering with Life Line Screening

BUCKHANNON, WV – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital is proud to announce that they are now partnering with Life Line Screening.

Life Line Screening provides an assessment of your risk for stroke and cardiovascular disease through a simple ultrasound screening.  The screenings conducted by experienced ultrasound technicians can identify dangerous plaque buildup or blockages. There is a lifetime risk of stroke for middle-aged men and women, and many who suffer show no prior symptoms or warning signs.

The screenings provided are: Carotid Artery Disease Screening (Plaque), Heart Rhythm Screening (Atrial Fibrillation), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening, and Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening.  Although not covered by insurance, Life Line Screening makes the screenings affordable by charging only $159 for the package of four screenings.

Screenings will be held on February 15 at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Buckhannon and on February 26 at the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston.  Appointments are limited. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-888-808-9016 and use priority code MBZA-354.
