Wonderful West Virginia Magazine is accepting reader submissions for its eighth annual Wildlife Photography Issue, with selected images set to appear in the magazine’s August/September edition.

To be considered, photos must feature native West Virginia wildlife. The magazine pointed to a wide range of possible subjects, from black bears and bobcats to salamanders, songbirds and butterflies. Photographers may enter one submission each, and the deadline is June 21.

Photographers whose work is chosen will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine, a free one-year subscription and the chance to see their photo featured in print.

Submissions can be made through the magazine’s online submission form.
