Women’s healthcare coming to Davis, West Virginia

ELKINS, WV Beginning August 2, women will have access to specialized care at a Women’s HealthCare outreach clinic in Davis, WV.

The clinic will be open on Wednesdays and will provide the diagnosis and treatment of most gynecological health services.

“We are excited to bring our women’s outreach care to Davis,” said Dr. Jeffrey Sellers, Director of Women’s HealthCare at Davis Medical Center. “Women can get an appointment quickly, at a location more convenient for our Tucker County patients.”

Davis Medical Center’s qualified team of certified nurse midwives will staff the clinic and provide a “whole-person” form of care, which blends education, physical wellness and mental health for women.

The providers are Brittany Breeden, CNM, Morgan McKinney, CNM, and Hannah Sulver, CNM.  The team supports the Davis Medical Center women’s health program with midwifery care including obstetrics and gynecology services in Elkins as well as outreach clinics in Philippi, Buckhannon, and Cowen, WV.

At the clinic in Davis, the providers will offer routine gynecologic care for women across the lifespan.  Services include wellness visits, pelvic pain, birth control, abnormal pap smears, menstrual disorders, and other GYN care.

The clinic is located at Shop-N-Save in Davis, WV at 371 William Avenue.

Davis Medical Center’s Women’s HealthCare provides a wide array of obstetrical and gynecological care including minimally invasive surgical techniques, menstrual disorders, urogynecology, menopause and more. The team includes three board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists, and three certified nurse midwives.  Care is delivered at Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Medical Care, Buckhannon Medical Care and the Cowen Clinic.
