William “Bill” Everette Mullenaux

William “Bill” Everette Mullenaux, 73, of Buckhannon, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at his residence.

He was born in Buckhannon on January 27, 1947, a son of the late William T. and Retha Lake Mullenaux. Bill was also preceded in death by two siblings: Pat Mullenaux and Guilda Duke.

Left to cherish his memories are two children: Debby Gauze of Randleman, N.C., and William “Billy” Mullenaux and wife, April, of Greensboro, N.C.; two grandchildren: Savanna and Rachael Gauze; two great-grandchildren: Ivy and Baylor Deweese; one sister: Jean Howard of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 1966 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School and Christian by faith. He was a self-employed trucker for Grafton Coal Company in Jackson’s Mill. Bill had a passion for driving big trucks of any type rather it be coal trucks, dump trucks, or eighteen-wheelers. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing especially for trout.

Bill’s request for cremation has been honored a private service will be held at a later date.
