Wilda Carol Bennett

Wilda Carol Bennett, age 81, of Buckhannon, died Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home.

She was born on February 10, 1943, in Vegan, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Baxter and Sarah Ann Landis Hinzman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband Robert Beckner; her second husband F. George Bennett; four brothers: Larry, Franklin, Stephen Carl and Ronnie Ray Hinzman; and three sisters: Irene Yokum, Doris Orsburn and Leona Champ.

She is survived by three sons: David Beckner of French Creek, Thomas Bennett and wife Donna of Buckhannon, and Randy Bennett and wife Megan of Virginia; three daughters: Brenda Cutlip of French Creek, Cheryl Nethken of Fairmont and Sandy Bennett and husband Chris of North Carolina; nine grandchildren: Joshua Beckner, Robbie Cutlip, April Cutlip, Carol Phillips, John Nethken, Autumn Nethken, Nathan Bennett, Matthew Hollen and Brandon Bennett; six great grandchildren; and one brother Arnold Hinzman of Buckhannon.

The body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
