Wesleyan’s Stoffel and Norris earn All-Region softball honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – West Virginia Wesleyan softball standouts Kendall Stoffel and Morgan Norris have earned spots on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region Teams, the association announced. Stoffel was named to the NFCA All-Atlantic Region First Team while Norris garnered Second Team honors.

Stoffel, a sophomore from Saint Albans, W.Va., found herself on the NFCA All-Region First Team after finishing the season with a 19-3 record, 1.47 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 15 CG, seven shutouts and 111 strikeouts in 138 innings of work. She was also named MEC Pitcher of the Year and All-MEC First Team.

Norris earned NFCA All-Region Second Team following a season where she hit .395 with a 1.118 OPS, 73 hits, 13 doubles, four triples, 10 HR and 57 RBI. While on the defensive side, she had a .989 Fielding % with 354 putouts. The sophomore from Gilbert, Ariz. was on the All-MEC Second Team as well.
