BUCKHANNON – On Thursday, the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty at West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) announced the 2021-2022 Academic Calendar, which includes key instruction dates for both the Fall 2021 Semester and the Spring 2022 Semester. Classes for the Fall 2021 Semester will begin Monday, August 23, whereas graduation is tentatively set for Saturday, May 7, 2022.

“The 2021-2022 Academic Calendar is designed to deliver high-quality, in-person learning that prepares West Virginia Wesleyan students for a successful future,” said Dr. James Moore, the College’s Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. “We are working to ensure the best learning environment possible and look forward to students’ arrival to campus. We will continue to monitor the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic.”

While progress has been made to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, through the vaccination of individuals and other measures, the College will once again implement a robust Arrival to Campus Plan, which will outline key on-campus public health guidelines. The College will also continue to share information on an on-going basis to prepare and support students, faculty and staff for in-person instruction for the 2021-2022 academic year.
